• May 2nd-Steve Tripp, Ranked Choice Voting in Royal Oak, Raylon leaks-May, Ferndale Council Member talking about the Woodward Road Diet.

• May 13th-Anti-Assault Weapon Rally in Ferndale

• June 4th-Progressive Puzzle Project with Distill Social

• June 6th-Tessa Beziger from Walking Lightly, Laura Mikulski, Raising Chickens in the City, Pizza-Salad ordered from Como’s served outdoors in the parking lot.

2022 Actions

• Applied and received the National Indivisible endorsement of Andy Levin for CD 11 in the primary 2022.

• Vote Forward letters and postcards to support Charlie Cavell for Commission, May 2022.

• Two high school students, who survived the Oxford High School shooting, came to present on their gun violence prevention group, "No Future Without Today." July 2022

• Had a table and our banner in the parade at the Oakland County Climate Rally in Royal Oak, April 2022.

• Helped with Fems for Democracy’s Petition Project for Promote the Vote, Reproductive Rights and Good Time Initiative in 2022. Made “Decline to Sign” cards to stop people from signing the “wrong” petitions.

• Donations collected every month at our meetings for Crossroads in Detroit 2021-2022

Actions before 2022

• Protests to preserve the ACA (Die-In at Rep. Dave Trott’s office)

• Worked with other Indivisible Groups to flip Republican Districts i.e. David Trott CD 11

• Protests to protect the rights of all immigrants and especially DACA recipients

• ICE protests

• Muslim ban protests

• Meeting with Senator Stabenow’s & Senator Peters’ staff quarterly along with Indivisible Lafayette Park

• Registered new voters at high schools and Community Colleges.

• Staffed various Democratic Candidate offices and phone banked and canvassed in run up to 2018 election.

• Organized rally in Ferndale with Detroit Light Brigade in support of Democracy Reform and specifically the Dems first bill, H.R. 1

• Held three demonstrations outside 9th District Democratic Party meetings, in order to influence Rep. Sander Levin to talk more openly about the Pentagon budget. Held a similar demonstration outside the meeting of Michigan Democratic Party’s State Central Committee.

• Signed on to a letter to Governor Whitmer, calling on her to appoint Eco-friendly person to the Michigan Public Service Commission (MPSC)

• Attended MPSC Hearing to lend support to those calling for changes in DTE’s Integrated Resource Plan

• Co-sponsored with the 9th District Democratic Party a forum of candidates for congress in CD-09 along with a Students Demand Action/ March For Our Lives Town Hall, March 2018

• Lobbied Senator Gary Peters and his staff to hold Town Hall Meetings which he eventually did in 2018

• Erected a display of hundreds of wood posts from which small toys were attached, in order to garner attention to the plight of detained and separated immigrant children. Obtained press coverage.

• Protested with Indivisible groups in Ohio outside Rob Portman’s office, Toledo, 2017

• Attended Women’s Marches in DC, Detroit, Lansing and around the country

• Scheduled regular meetings with Rep. Sandy Levin along with other activists.

• Attended Midwest Regional Indivisible Leadership training in Ohio February 2018.

• Collaborated with Fems for Change on Healthcare Forums

• Organized statewide coalition of Indivisibles and hosted a conference of SWIM, StateWide Indivisible Michigan in Mt. Pleasant, June 2019
